Transparent very pale yellowish green; few bubbles. Blown; linear-cut. Beaker shaped like truncated cone. Rim plain; wall straight and tapering; base flat; pontil mark roughly circular (D. 1.4 cm). Wall has continuous frieze of irregular linear-cut decoration, made with shallow cuts 0.2–0.3 cm wide; it extends from about 3.6 cm below rim to about 1 cm above bottom, and it consists of one wide (upper) and one narrow (lower) register. Wide register has upper and lower borders, each consisting of two closely spaced horizontal lines; between borders, broad band of ornament divided by pairs of vertical lines into two wide panels alternating with two narrow panels; each narrow panel contains two crosses consisting of four diagonal cuts touching or almost touching at center, one above the other, and additional cuts in some spaces between arms of crosses; each wide panel contains narrow horizontal band of curved cuts arranged in wavelike pattern above two horizontal lines, below which broader band is divided into three triangular compartments by pairs of diagonal cuts, with groups of straight and comma-like cuts in each compartment. Narrow register has continuous band of pairs of straight cuts arranged in form of V, alternating with single crescent-shaped cuts; below this, one continuous horizontal line. On underside of base, three straight cuts arranged in triangle that encloses pontil mark, which was partly removed by polishing.
