Primary Description:
Centerpiece Bowl and Four Candlesticks. Black, white non-lead glass; blown, acid-etched and engraved. (A) Circular bowl with wide flat rim, blown of black glass with applied thread of white glass around edge; rim has etched design of four baskets of flowers alternating with four floral bouquets with ribbons above and below and an engraved design of a row of dots at outer edge of design; polished pontil mark on base. (B-D) Five-part candlestick with pear-shaped socket having a flat rim edged with a thread of white; applied capstan-shaped section; applied baluster stem; applied capstan shaped section; applied bell-shaped foot; acid-etched design of ribbons and flowers on stem and foot; engraved band of dots above and below decoration on foot; rough pontil mark underneath; ground and polished foot rim.
