Checkerboard plaque. Canes of turquoise, opaque red and translucent medium deep blue glass, dull, pitted surface, some chipping; mosaic glass or millefiori technique. Roughly square inlay consisting of a central turquoise square surrounded by alternating squares of turquoise with composite checkerboard squares with red centers, white corners and blue infills.
