Primary Description: 
Colorless cased in opaque aqua, opaque aqua and cobalt, non-lead glasses, gold leaf; blown, hot worked. Multi-layered jar of colorless cased in opaque aqua, then colorless, then aqua and cobalt; wide flaring, flat rim with cobalt lip wrap; inscribed on underside of rim: "T. Iwata 1974"; sharply collared, squat, slightly tapered body decorated with cobalt blending to aqua decorated with folded strips of gold leaf; base ground and polished flat, polished pontil; paper label on base: "TR-527"; disc lid of colorless with overall minute speckling of blue and brown, colorless knop with gold leaf applied with colorless patty, ground and polished pontil.
