(a) Large, round-funnel bowl, with engraved continuous scene, a figure of Mercury seated, playing a pipe, his caduceus alongside; a herdsman, with dog, sheep and cattle; a castle in the background; trees, hills, bushes, etc. complete this circuit; cut facets at the base; stem with merese, flattened faceted knop, two mereses, a faceted inverted baluster, merese and capstan at the base; circular foot with engraved continuous landscape in a band, with several houses and trees; rough pontil mark. (b) Domed form with folded rim and inset, tapered brim; engraved continuous landscape; finial composed of a faceted inverted baluster, merese, faceted flattened knop, and two mereses at the base; rough pontil mark.
