Primary Description: 
Colorless glass; pressed. All have acid-finished surfaces. Cross: Cruciform shape with "IHS" at center and trefoil arms; fits into slot in a three-stem base. Candlesticks: Four-lobed column with scalloped capital holding candle and octagonal base ground and polished. Brass plaque inscribed: "The Cross and Candlesticks Given/To The Glory of God and in Loving Memory of/ Harry Sloan Hower/Professor of Physics/Carnegie Institute of Technology/1909-1941".
