Colorless lead glass; blown, engraved, cut. (a) Tall, club-like shape; faceted rim; tall, tapered neck, panel-cut; sides engraved with a version of the Great Seal of the United States, an eagle with upraised wings above a shield containing stars and bars, against a ribbon inscribed "E PLURIBUS/UNUM"; band of grapes and leaves on the reverse; panel-cut on the lower part of the sides; star-cut, polished, flat base. (b) Hollow, tapered shape, top cut with four concave facets, coming together in a point, sides engraved with a continuous vine of grapes and leaves; facet-cut neck; polished, tapered shank; scratched "7" on bottom.
