Primary Description: 
Deep Flaring Bowl on Wooden Stand. Transparent purple glass; bowl form, blown and carved. a) Bowl wall widely flaring and fluted; rim with eight scallops, and motifs in relief; interior base somewhat convex, and rather deeply cut with pattern of two fish, leaf-like forms and roughly incised lines running in a pattern to rim indicate that the form to look like a lily pad; a thickly rounded base rim in relief with leaves and a lotus bud curving in over a somewhat concave base encircling the unusual, thick, rounded foot rim, expanding outward over flaring body in a design of lotus leaves, lotus flowers, water plants, birds and butterflies. b) Carved wooden stand.
