Primary Description: 
Colorless with translucent amber and brown mottling, striations of cobalt, aqua, green, pink, white 25% lead glass; mold-melted or pâte de verre, sandblasted. Shallow semi-circular covered box with cover decoration of a winged insect in high relief; (a) lower concave half of box has inset flange around rim, base ground and polished flat; (b) head and two large dark blue eyes of insect extend from center of cover straight edge, double-pair of wings extend across width and detailed with lower-relief sectioning and striations of color, remainder of cover bisected by narrow triangular body of insect consisting of alternating blue, pink, aqua and white stripes; edge rim ground flat; overall semi-matte surface with polished hi-lights; in relief on underside of lid: "Shin/1990".
