Primary Description: 
Colorless, deep blue lead glass; blown, cased, cut, engraved. Bell-shaped bowl of colorless glass overlaid with blue, applied hollow baluster stem and circular foot; bowl engraved with flowers and two birds around a cartouche with "Father's Gift/To Maria/1860", reverse of bowl has flowers, a butterfly and two birds; stem is panel-cut, foot has engraved scrollwork and cut circles around rim.
