Primary Description: 
Fragment of Dish. Almost colorless, with faint yellowish tinge; decorated in brown and pale bluish gray. Blown; stained. Fragment of shallow dish. Rim plain, with rounded lip; wall (Th. 0.05-0.2 cm) is almost straight and tapers at shallow angle. Decorated on both sides, and intended to be seen from interior. On exterior: part of Kufic inscription in brown; tall vertical stroke and, to its left, shorter stroke that curves upward from right to left and ends in serif; brown stain has very narrow gray “halos.” On interior: gray vegetal scroll, possibly springing from serif of curved stroke.
