Primary Description:
Fragment of Cup or Bowl. Colorless, with prominent bubbles; decorated in yellowish brown. Blown; stained. Fragment of cylindrical cup or bowl. Rim slightly thickened on outside, with rounded lip; upper wall (Th. 0.1 cm) vertical. Decorated on outside. Just below rim: horizontal stripe (Th. 0.5 cm), presumably continuous; below this, horizontal row, again presumably continuous, of contiguous arcs with ends pointing upward, which forms border between (above) narrow band of curvilinear motifs separated by dots and (below) broad band of vegetal ornament. Surviving part of broad band has part of vertical stem, which divides and, on left side (and presumably on missing right side), terminates in bifurcated scroll; to left of this, parts of two other motifs, one of which is curved and may be part of scrolling stem.
