Primary Description:
Colorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved, gilt. Tapered bowl with gilt rim and band of polished circles below; band of engraving around the middle, of mounted and marching troops, inscribed above "Vive L'Armee Prussienne"; on the reverse a coat of arms, with the inscription "Sejour agreable" to the right; a town labeled "BUSAU"; band of gilt rounded facets below, a band of oval facets, panel cutting, rounded ribbing with gilt outlines, and panel cutting; base of the bowl contains nine air bubbles; cut waisted section with gilt bands above and below, a diamond-faceted knop containing numerous air bubbles, a waisted section, and basal knop with gilt panel-cutting above; panel, rib, and scallop cutting around the domed foot, many of them gilded or outlined with gold; rough pontil mark.
