Large cylindrical bowl, with cut plain rim, a wide band of cut square tables, each with radial stars on the sides, with a rectangular, convex panel on the front, enclosing a male sulphide head (Goethe), facing sinister, on the front; a band of cut panels below, each with a convex circular boss in the center; panel-cut, waisted stem, with cut raised cross-cut band at the center; stem flaring into a thick foot with chamfered, notched rim, faces with square cross-cut panels; underside of the foot with heavy rounded radial ribbing.
