Colorless lead glass; blown, engraved. Ovoid bowl with engraved depiction of a knight on horseback, with flowing cape and helmet, holding a sword in his right hand; the horse rearing on its hind legs; standing on an engraved ground line; opposite side with engraved laurel wreath, with formal scrollwork below; engraved band of waves above a narrow matte band with polished ovals below, and a band of repeated husks; narrow matte band framed by lines above a band of repeated triangular points at the bottom of the bowl; slender trumpet stem and foot with folded rim; engraved ring of dots on the stem and a ring of husks near the rim.
