Primary Description: 
Colorless non-lead glass; blown, carved, engraved. Large straight-sided bowl with rounded base; relief-carved shield with the engraved arms of the Electors of Brandenburg surrounded by the Ribbon of the Order of the Garter, inscribed "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE", and surmounted by an elector's hat, flanked by palm fronds and fruiting laurel branches; relief-carved ring of pointed leaves on the base; stem composed of a capstan, an inverted baluster with sloping top above two cylindrical bands, and relief-carved pointed leaves on the tapered lower section, above a ring knop with a circuit of stiff relief-carved leaves encircling; short, cylindrical peg below; foot composed of a cylindrical socket, into which the stem of the goblet was cemented, above a cut rib, and a flared trumpet-shaped foot, with cut panels ending in a petal-shaped rim; circuit of cut small ovals on the underside.
