Laura de Santillana is the daughter of Ludovico Diaz de Santillana (Italian, 1931–1989), formerly a director of Venini, and the grandaughter of its founder, Paolo Venini (Italian, 1895–1959). She and her brother, Alessandro Diaz de Santillana (Italian, b. France, 1959), made several popular designs for the family’s glassworks.
