Web Description: 
Carnation is one of the most popular patterns in the "Gravic" line. The "Gravic" trademark was registered in 1903, and the Carnation pattern was in use by 1904 when it first appeared in a brochure. Gravic was replaced by "Satin-Engraved" in the advertisements by 1915.

Description

Primary Description: 
Pitcher in "Gravic Carnation" Pattern. Colorless lead glass; blown, cut, engraved .Slightly waisted cylindrical form with cut and polished top rim, applied handle opposite lip, engraved decoration of carnations, stems, and leaves covering most of body, curved radiating lines engraved on base, trademark stamped on base.
