Snuff Bottle with Stopper. (a) Opaque milk glass with mustard color overlay; blown, cased, cameo-carved. Flat body; almost straight walls with shoulder sloping to short cylindrical neck; cut design on one face, a seated Taoist figure holding a fly whisk, accompanied by a tiger (?), and a second figure seated on ground, some Chinese characters and a seal; on the other face a figure with a staff and pennant , a horse, grasses, a female figure and a new moon; (b) coral stopper-cap cut in three tiers; ivory dipping spoon.
