Colorless lead glass; blown, engraved. Cylindrical form, with thick flat base; engraved decoration on the sides, of an eagle, with raised wings, clutching arrows and a branch in its talons, above a shield with horizontal and vertical bars, with thirteen stars distributed at either side (six on the left, seven on the right), within an oval wreath of foliage; to its right, a similar foliate wreath enclosing an Irish harp; and on the reverse a coronet above a shield emblazoned with a chevron, with six-petaled flowers above and below, with lion rampant supporters; polished flat foot with large polished pontil mark.
