Colorless lead glass; blown, engraved. Small, ovoid bowl; engraved horizontal border, with lined lambrequins and stars below, a band of thistles, each flanked by four leaves, a scalloped band below, above a matte band with repeated polished minute circular facets, and a band of vertical lines; thin, straight stem, spreading at the base; circular foot with engraved scalloped border with radial lines and stars; inscribed "11179 / 2" in diamond point on the underside of the foot; minute polished pontil mark.
