Amy West

Amy L. West studied fine arts at Escuela de Bellas Artes, Universidad Central, Quito, Ecuador. She continued her artistic pursuits in book arts at the San Francisco Center for the Book as student, staff member, and volunteer. During this time, she also studied one-on-one with master calligrapher, Ward Dunham.

In 2005, she began an apprenticeship to learn glass engraving with Master Luigi Camozzo, master engraver and sculptor in Murano, Italy, where she currently lives, studies, and works in glass. West specializes in engraving, battuto, lampworking, and design. She works and exhibits with galleries and collectors from around the world.
