Biography: Niko Dimitrijevic

Niko Dimitrijevic

Most recently, Niko Dimitrijevic’s work has manifested as installations using light or its properties to define a given space. He will often incorporate or solely rely on found/reclaimed materials as the basis for both his installation and glass work.   

Dimitrijevic earned his MFA in Visual Arts from Ohio State University in 2018, having earned his BFA in glass from Alfred University in 2004. He has previously taught beginning glassblowing courses at his alma mater, Ohio State University, as well as Pilchuck Glass School and Pittsburgh Glass Center. He has demonstrated and exhibited his work internationally, and previously was a member of both the Museum of Glass, Tacoma, and William Morris glassblowing teams.
