Biography: Pati Walton

Pati Walton

Pati Walton has been creating flameworked glass beads since 1992. She is most widely known for her aquarium beads and scenes of mountains, deserts, and gardens. Walton makes intricate canes called murrine which she incorporates into her work. She was featured in a book on how to create some of these beads: The Aquarium and Landscape Beads of Pati Walton and Her Intricate Murrine by James Kervin. She has taught workshops around the country and her work has been featured in the Loveland Museum, the Rockwell Museum, and in publications such as Ornament Magazine, Lapidary Journal, Jewelry Crafts, and Glass Art.
