Ross Delano

Ross Delano is a glassmaker who has been working with the material since 2005, when he was introduced to it at Franklin Pierce University while earning his BS in Business Administration. After college, he held numerous jobs including high school crew coach, old fashioned soda maker, and forklift driver. In 2010, Delano moved to Corning, New York, to pursue a career in glassblowing.

In addition to creating and selling his own work, he has assisted numerous artists throughout New England to create their production and art glass. At The Studio of The Corning Museum of Glass, he has worked as a gaffer and assistant to many international artists-in-residence. In 2013, Delano moved to New York City to further his business acumen at the Pratt Institute from which he graduated in 2015 with an MPS in Design Management. He moved back to Corning in 2015, degree in hand, and currently designs and creates products for small businesses.

Delano’s personal work focuses on creative functional glassware and sculpture inspired by the natural world as well as his own, warped mind.
