Ten-Week Session

Take your work to the next level by utilizing cane. This class will set students up for success, encompassing how to make different types of glass canes at the furnace and explore ways to manipulate them into patterns in a blown object. Starting with the basics, the class will progress to cover reticello, supios, wig-wag, and experimental techniques. This class meets at The Studio on Tuesday evenings for ten weeks beginning October 5, 2021. This class is ideal for intermediate and advanced glass students with a solid foundation in blown forms.

For the wellbeing of all students and staff, The Studio is requiring that students, instructors, and teaching assistants participating in on-site classes must provide verification that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
