Cold Working
All Levels
Two-Week Session

Using solid blocks of glass, students will experiment with aspects of advanced cold working: grinding, polishing, surface decoration, and laminating. Students will be introduced to various tools including flat grinders and cutting and engraving lathes. Students will learn cutting and engraving with both stone and diamond and laminating with HXTAL epoxy to join glass elements. Students should be ready to have fun in the cold shop! No glassworking experience is required.
