This class introduces the fundamental principles of cold-working techniques, as well as many handy tips for cold finishing processes. The class will start with an introduction to grinding, polishing, and hand-matting techniques, and will also cover approaches to blending surfaces and creating effects on glass. The class will benefit glass workers who use hot glass, kiln forming, and casting processes. It is recommended for glass artists who are looking to develop skills and learn more immediate ways to finish glass efficiently. All skill levels are welcome.
