This class will introduce the fundamental principles of cold-working techniques, as well as many handy tips for cold finishing processes. The class will start with an introduction to grinding, polishing and hand-matting techniques, and will also cover approaches to blending surfaces and creating effects on glass. The class is aimed at hot glass workers, kiln formers and casters. It is recommended for artists who are looking to develop skills and learn more immediate ways to finish glass efficiently. All skill levels are welcome.
