Students will develop skills to navigate the balance between construction and aesthetics using borosilicate glass. Advanced learners in this class will focus on the exploration of hollow work to create marbles, pendants, and original functional sculpture. Students will engage in discussions about inspiration and originality, and develop strategies to execute their unique artistic vision. This class works with borosilicate (hard) glass. Two years of flameworking experience is required.
