Join Harry Seaman, The Studio’s senior facility manager, for a three-week online course dedicated to building a home or personal flameshop. Live presentations, demonstrations, and discussions of large and small considerations will guide students through all facets of designing and planning a safe and functional flameworking studio. Students will have ample opportunities to ask questions specific to their individual space. Topics covered will include: site selection, ventilation, flammable storage, construction, plumbing, parts assembly, and more.

The class will be delivered via weekly video conferences that incorporate live presentations and class discussions. Classes take place Thursdays, 7–8:30 PM EST, beginning April 1, 2021. Students registered for this course should have a reliable internet connection during class hours and a computer or tablet that can support video and audio communication.
