Three-Day Workshop

This class will shed light on the versatility of frit for the glass artist. Lessons will focus on several techniques that take advantage of frit’s unique characteristics — its size, its reaction to heat, and its movement — to create unique glass art pieces. The crackle technique, pioneered by Robert Leatherbarrow, will be tested and modified to explore its possibilities. In addition, the class will discuss and work with several other frit-based processes to produce unique-looking pieces. Bring questions and photos! All skill levels are welcome.
