Wearing Your Own Boots: Kiln & Cold Ideas

July 27 - August 7, 2020
Kiln Working and Cold Working
Two-Week Session

This class will explore pathways to develop individual ideas alongside refining kiln and cold working knowledge. Many classes offer in-depth investigation of a technique or process, but how do artists employ these in a studio to develop their work? Through a series of projects, demonstrations, presentations, discussion, and studio time, this class will be a balance of design time, creating and refining. The aim is that students leave with a deeper experience and range of approaches for realizing their work in glass. Some kiln working experience would be an advantage.
