See guest artist, Karen Willenbrink-Johnsen in a live, narrated demonstration in the Amphitheater Hot Shop on June 17 from 9 am–12 pm.

As a lover of nature, Karen Willenbrink-Johnsen's reflects her passion for the outdoors and her experience as a glassmaker. She often sculpts highly detailed animals and other forms found in nature. Her objects are incredibly realistic to the natural wonders and creatures that inspire her.

This demo is included in the cost of admission (kids and teens 17 and under are free).

Karen Willenbrink-Johnsen and Jasen Johnsen

A testimony to her love of nature, Karen Willenbrink-Johnsen’s work is the result of countless hours of observation and decades being immersed in the in the glass-working experience. Jasen Johnsen, alongside his substantial glass sculpting skills, is also accomplished in metalworking and tool making. The couple work in their Hot Glass studio in Bow, Wash.
