Martin Janecký: Guest Artist Demonstration

See Guest Artist Martin Janecký during a live, narrated demonstration in the Amphitheater Hot Shop on July 18 from 6 to 7:30 pm. A glassblower and sculptor, Janecký incorporates various techniques and approaches to solid and blown sculpting and is a favorite with Museum audiences.

Janecký works all over the world creating the figurative sculptural work for which he is best known. He is considered to be one of the best glass sculptors working today and has exhibited internationally.

This demo is included in the cost of admission (kids and teens 17 and under are free).

Martin Janecký

Martin Janecký began his career with glass at the age of 13 and later explored sculpting methods in the Czech Republic. By the time he was 20, he was employed by leading artists and designers around the world to assist and to execute specific works. Janecký teaches and demonstrates around the world, including at The Studio.
