Attend free, informal lectures by Studio faculty, some of the best-known glassmakers in the world. Hear instructors speak about their work in unstructured and highly-informative sessions in The Studio Lecture Room on Tuesday nights throughout the class sessions.

This week features Igor Balbi and Evelyn Dunstan in the Studio Faculty Presentations series.

Igor Balbi

Igor Balbi

Colorful, delicate goblets with stems that sometimes look like candy clutter the Murano workshop of Igor Balbi. Using soda lime glass, Balbi makes flower-like goblets using flameworking techniques and a mini blowpipe.

Evelyn Dunstan

Evelyn Dunstan

Evelyn Dunstan works from her home studio in Auckland, New Zealand. Coming from an arts background, Dunstan found her niche with lost wax kiln casting in 2003, and has since explored the qualities of locally made Gaffer crystal.
