Notes:
Drawing is for two decanters and six vases. Along upper portion of drawing are five vases, each identical, in decreasing sizes from left to right. Below vase on left is another identical vase which shows a slightly different view. To the right of that vase is a decanter, the only object on the drawing drawn in landscape orientation. Along the right side of drawing is an identical decanter, slightly larger. Each piece has similar pattern with curving, smooth shape and green coloring.
Drawing is on tan construction paper.
"Aug. Herbst" -- written in white watercolor on lower right corner.
"S62." -- written in white watercolor on lower left corner.
Tack holes in each corner.
Herbst was one of Émile Gallé's collaborators, being principally employed in the furniture workshops in Nancy. He won a prize for his outstanding designs at the Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1900.
