Drawing is on white paper decorated with watercolor in shades of pink, blue, purple, orange, and green; vase has been cut out and mounted on stiff black contruction paper. Body of vase is decorated with a top row of orange and pink flowers followed by two rows of lily pads; the bottom of vase has another row of flowers, smaller than those along top. Lip of vase is decorated with floral design, as if the vase opening is the flower's head.
White, square label affixed to lower right corner of verso of black construction paper; "Fonds Chambon" -- stamped on label in black ink. "15" -- written in black ink on same label.
This design was formerly cataloged as part of a trade catalog, BIB 55482, made up of 79 original drawings for vases, lighting fixtures, lampshades, and candlesticks; these designs, most of which are anonymous, had been assembled and mounted by R.
