Print is hinged on mat along upper edge; dimensions including mat are 56 x 72 cm.
Two-sided print features various scientific-technical articles made at least partially of glass. Images include telescope, bottles, goblet, clock, thermometer, microscope, mirror, lantern, spectacles, camera obscura, watch, and compass. Japanese text featured at right. Surveyor instruments, scales, and a "thousand year lamp" on verso.
Print was made in Edo (Tokyo), Japan, probably before name change in 1868, by glassmaker Gensuke, or Gensjke, Osumi.
This print is located in Print Box E-3, no print number.
