Pencil sketch illustrates the lab where the artist worked at Tiffany Furnaces in Corona, Queens, New York. Below sketch is text by artist describing the experimental end of the lab "where I spent many lonely hours. The home of Favrile glass". Nash also explains that in this space was a silk thread that stretched from the floor to the clock to alert him of visitors.
"Louis C. Tiffany Furnaces Inc., Corona, L. I., N.Y." penciled in below sketch.
"LHNash, 1926" signed and dated in pencil below sketch.
"Laboratory at Tiffany Plant" -- written in black crayon or pencil along right edge of verso.
The sketch was made a few years before the stock market crash and the impending closure of Tiffany Studios.
