Watercolor for enamel on copper covered box with yellow dandelion decoration in two views, side by side. View on left is of covered box from above; view on right is of covered box from side angle. Each view is of yellowish-gold dandelions with large green leaves on dark blue box.
"sg 273" penciled in above designs along upper edge. Since the conception of the enamel department in 1898, nearly all Tiffany enamels were labeled EL or SG and numbered sequentially. "SG" stands for the Stourbridge Glass Company.
"Box" -- written in black ink on upper right corner.

In 1898 an enameling department was set up as part of the Stourbridge Glass Company; in 1902, it was renamed Tiffany Furnaces.
