Opportunities for Scholars
The Corning Museum of Glass offers several opportunities for scholars to expand on their study of glass. The Rakow Grant for Glass Research provides funds for scholars to research the history of glass and glassmaking from antiquity until the mid-20th century, from anywhere in the world. The David Whitehouse Research Residency for Scholars brings scholars to the Museum for one to three weeks to utilize the extensive holdings of the Rakow Research Library to inform their research about any period of glass.
