Welcome to GlassBarge

Climb aboard GlassBarge by The Corning Museum of Glass. The innovative, all-electric floating glass-making studio is making her way up the Hudson River. Enjoy the beauty of New York’s waterways as the talented Hot Glass Team demonstrates the centuries-old artform of glassblowing. This mobile outreach program occurs in conjunction with the 150th anniversary of glassmaking arriving in Corning and the Erie Canal’s Bicentennial anniversary. Those interested in watching hot glass demonstrations are strongly encouraged to register for free tickets in advance online. To learn more about GlassBarge, see the demonstration schedule, or register for free tickets, visit www.cmog.org/glassbarge. Demonstrations are free and open to the public.
